3 WAYS TO GET FALL SEASON READY

We are well into October, the temperature is dropping, and the season is changing! With the season change comes changes in lash cycles, climate, and retention. But the change doesn’t have to be scary, as we transition, here’s 3 ways to get fall season ready! 

Prep your Clients

Your clients may experience the “fall lash shed” where their lash cycle is sped up causing poor retention. The best thing we can do as lash artists is prepare and educate our clients. Prepare your clients that they may need an extra appointment or two during this time, and educate them again on proper aftercare to make sure their retention is the best it can be. With the season change, also comes the holidays and busier schedules—prep your clients in advance and have them pre book early! 

Know your Climate

If you live in a place where the season change means temperature and humidity change then this one is for you! First, know your climate by using a hygrometer and second, adjust where necessary. Use a heater or fan to adjust the temperature and a humidifier to adjust the humidity! Climate affects our adhesive and it is always best to be in control of it. 

Get Cozy!

Fall vibes are all about being cozy and comfortable, and that applies to our lash space too. By adding a few extra amenities we can make our space fall season ready. It’s time to bust out the extra blankets, a space heater, and even a heat pad for the bed. If you offer drinks, consider adding hot drinks to the menu. Anything to make the client feel cozy during these chilly days.
