GADGETS FOR A CLEAN SPACE

Keeping a clean and professional space is all part of the job and a non non-negotiable as a business owner. As lash artists, we all know the pain of finding loose eyelash extensions anywhere and everywhere. With the combination of how important a clean space is and rogue eyelash extensions everywhere I’ve found the gadgets that every lash artist needs to make maintaining a clean space easier.

Dry Floor Cloths

Dry floor cloths make sweeping and dusting so easy. I use these cloths to dry dust every surface in my space and also on the floors because they pick up lashes like a magnet. These are especially useful as an alternative to sweeping when I don’t have time to do a full sweep but need to freshen up the floors.

Reusable Lint Roller

Lint rolling is my favorite trick for picking up loose eyelashes and these reusable ones are a game changer. Before washing my lash sheets and towels I like to give everything a once over with a lint roller to prevent lashes from taking over my washing machine. I also seem to collect lashes on my person and a lint roller is a must have for removing them.

Microfiber Cleaning Towels

For all basic cleaning I love a good microfiber towel. Dusting, mirrors, floors, and everything in between. They work great for dry cleaning and also for wet cleaning with an all purpose cleaner.

Cleaning Gel

Another easy way to pick up all the rogue lashes is cleaning gel. Lashes can not hide from cleaning gel even when they somehow manage to get in the most pesky places. I love using the cleaning gel in my drawers where there’s a lot of things to work around.

Rubber Broom

Clean floors are happy floors whether it’s hard flooring or carpet. With a lot of foot traffic and loose lashes that have a way of ending up on the floor every lash artist needs a rubber broom. Traditional sweeping just doesn’t seem to pick up lashes as well as a rubber broom  and the best part is it picks up lashes from carpet and rugs and acts as a squeegee on hard floors.
