THE ULTIMATE LASH BED

Having a comfortable lash space is important but let’s be real, our clients have their eyes closed for the majority of their appointment so having a comfortable lash bed is key. A massage table is pretty standard in the industry so here’s a list of all things to take your massage table to the next level and have the ultimate lash bed.

Step Stool

A small step stool can give your clients just enough of a boost to make getting on the table smooth and getting off the bed without a jump. I added a step stool this year and my clients love it!

Sheets

There are fitted sheets specifically for massage tables and it gives such a clean look. I love them because they are easy to switch out and easy to clean. A fitted sheet is a must have if you are adding a foam topper.

Bolster

Knee support relieves back pain so much while laying on a flat surface! My clients have used the bolster under their knees, behind their back, and even side support. Having a bolster is a great option because it’s easy to set aside if your clients would rather not use it.

Pillow

A pillow isn’t always convenient to work around as a lash artist but it does provide extra comfort for the clients. I suggest a lash specific pillow, something to brace their neck, or an airplane pillow.

Foam Pad

An additional foam pad is my number one recommendation when you’re trying to create the ultimate lash bed. Massage tables are purposed for massage meaning they come quite firm. A simple foam pad cut to size is the perfect solution! Like I mentioned above, pair it with a fitted sheet and your clients will never know.

Massager

A massage pad on top of the foam pad is really an extra step but if you are looking to take your client’s comfort to the next level give it a try! Avoid massagers that only vibrate to ensure your clients are not moving.

Heated Blanket

Another extra extra step would be to add a heated blanket under the fitted sheet. My clients love this during the winter months and it really makes the appointment cozy.
