BUILDING A CLIENTELE: Promotions & Discounts

Promotional offers and discounts are good ways to build your business and get first time clients in the door. Nowadays there are a lot of simple ways to run a promotions. We have a few tips & ideas for running promotions and offering discounts to help you build your clientele! 

Giveaways

Social media platforms are a great place to host contests and giveaways. A few ideas would include: “Enter to win a free set of eyelashes by following my page” or  “In the next 24 hours I’m going to select one random commenter for 20% off their next appointment.”

Referral Discount

Referral programs are very successful in gaining clients. Clients are more likely to pass on your information if you offer them a discount, such as $5 off, for any new clients who come see you based on their referral. Have business cards made to make it even easier for clients to pass on your information.

Limited Timed Discount

Offering a “limited time” discount is a great way to gain new clients or fill any gaps in your schedule. This could include, “For the month of October I am offering 15% off any service” or “Last minute opening today—20% off anyone who books during this time” 

Seasonal & Holiday

Use the time of year to your advantage! The holidays are a fun way to incorporate promotions. “Happy Holidays! Free lash wash with any full set!”
