How to: Use a Nano-Mister

I am a big fan of using a nano mister. Nano misting quickly and effectively cures eyelash extension adhesive. By using a nano mister you significantly reduce irritations caused by adhesive and help rehydrate your client’s eyelashes and eyes. There are important benefits to using a nano mister, but how do you use it properly? We are here to help! Here’s a list of all our nano mister tips, tricks, and how-tos. 

1. Use only distilled water. Distilled water helps prevent clogs and keeps your mister running properly.

2. Keep your nano mister charged! There’s nothing worse than working so hard on a set of lashes and not being able to finish them properly. 

3. Hold the mister 8-12 inches away from the client’s lashes. Misting too close will cause too much water on the lashes and will result in blooming and poor retention. You should not be able to see water drops on the lashes.

4. Move the mister in a sweeping fashion back and forth covering both eyes. You don’t want to over focus on one area.

5. Our mister doesn’t have an automatic timer so you can mist for as little or as long as your need! 15-30 seconds is standard. 

6. Feel free to sue the mister mid-appointment, especially if you know your client is more sensitive. (Also, give yourself a little mist your eyes deserve it!)

7. Empty and leave your mister open at the end of each day to ensure fresh, clean water every day.
