Stay at home: Must Haves
With all extra down time at home I’ve been “adding to cart” a little more, and indulging in things like puzzles, baking, and self care a lot more. All the ways I typically spend my down time and days off are unavailable so I’ve had to improvise whenever boredom hits. With that said, here’s a twist on my usual seasonal favorites post by sharing some must have products for staying at home, happily.
1. Puzzling I feel like you are either a puzzle person or you’re not, and as much as I classify as a puzzle person I hardly ever take the time to sit down and puzzle. I’m sharing my favorite brand, here. I love these puzzles because they have a lot of pieces that were inspired by places—so it’s like a taste of traveling! (Not really, but that’s what were dealing with right now). I’ve now completed two that were inspired by my hometown!
2. Baking MarathonDoesn’t it feel like everyone is baking like crazy, like every other Instagram post is a new banana bread recipe? I don’t know what it is about being cooped up that makes everyone baking happy but I have also jumped on the bandwagon. I made thesecookies and—YUM. I’ve also been impressed with this cookbook for a little bit of everything and thiscookbook for happy hour.
3. Facemasks, Bubble Baths, and Deep Conditioning, OH MY!Taking a bath with a face mask on while hydrating your hair is the ultimate relaxing trifecta that I’ve found myself doing a few too many times, like I am expert level. You can catch me wearing this, this, or this facemask at any given time. I never take a bath without this and this or if it’s been an extra long day than this . And to top it off, this or this deep conditioner. There you have it my must haves for the relaxing trifecta.
4.Quarantine but Make it FashionLoungewear was trending before we all stayed in full time but now they are wardrobe necessities. Check out a couple of my new found favorites hereand here and I can’t not share this cute set!
5.Book Club for OneI can’t stop binging Netflix series or re-watching The Office so I ordered a few books to help me quit (wean off) the TV. They are on their way and I’m very much looking forward to sitting outside the hopefully warm weather with a good book. The books that were recommended to me can be found here, here, and here.
