FOR THE CLIENT: SIMPLE WAYS TO TAKE CARE OF YOUR EYELASH EXTENSIONS

Eyelash extensions seem high maintenance but it’s all about being high maintenance to have a low maintenance daily routine. Personally, that’s exactly why I love my extensions— the get up and go! Eyelash extensions are the key to my simple routine, but there’s a few tips I’ve learned along the way to keep them looking their best without feeling “high maintenance.” I love passing these tips onto my clients!

Multitask your Washes

Aftercare is the most important part of taking care of your lashes but it can easily feel like one. more. thing. I’ve found that if you leave your lash wash in the shower it makes the whole process easier, reminds me to do it, and I avoid the wet wrists I get when I wash over the sink. If that doesn’t work for you put it somewhere that you’ll see it and regularly use it—Next to your tooth brush, close to the sink, or somewhere not tucked away in the back of a drawer.

Brushes Everywhere!

It seems like eyelash brushes multiply in the night, but I love having them handy. One in the bathroom, my purse, my car, my husband’s car, work, and really anywhere I find myself needing a quick brush. If you have a brush available it makes brushing them a lot easier and brushed lashes are happy lashes. In fact, the place I brush my eyelashes the most is in the car!

Pre-Book

If I waited until my lashes looked like they needed a fill to schedule an appointment I would 1. Never get an appointment and 2. I would be adding stress that I do not need. Pre booking is a part of the maintenance. As a client I book out multiple appointments and as an artist I always recommend my clients schedule at least one appointment before leaving their current appointment.
